The Italian darkwave band MonumentuM recently released a cover of "The River" and it's quite good. I read this song one of their favourite ever.

I don't know if I already post it but Spahn Ranch (industrial/darkwave band) made a good "The River" cover too: http://www.deezer.com/fr/track/1338555

Wiggins is so superbly unassuming, he looks like he's about to say 'Pop the gold medal in the post, I'm nipping out for some biscuits'

Hello Everyone. I'm new to this page. Been a devoted PJ Harvey fan for a long, long time. Been referred to this site by someone on Twitter by name of Matt Blake. (Not sure if he rings any bells for anyone here on this forum?) Well, the reason I'm on this certain site is due to myself just looking for PJ Harvey's beautiful song You Said Something to post on my Facebook page but came across this gorgeous folk cover by a duo calling themselves Exit Silence. Almost Mazzy Star-ish in tone with the soft muted acoustic guitar and a shimmering gorgeous voice. Matt loved it as well so I figured I'd post on here. Let me know what you think. Mind you, I usually don't post covers. Especially when it comes to PJ Harvey since I feel she's perfect anyway. But something just kept pulling me about this cover. Almost the same feeling I got when I first heard PJ's original version for the first time. Hope you all like it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6r18qQC58NI

C'mon Billy as performed live by Strange Moments:

This is my band. We play mostly songs I've written but throw in a couple of covers just for fun and this is one of them. Hope you enjoy and don't mind the plug.
