She's come close recently though. Broken Harp, To Talk To You and Before Departure. Should we be worried?

Re: Mark Linkous and Polly
The song is beautiful. Was listening to radio broadcast about Linkous last night and they played it for a few times. Sad, but beautiful.
In spite of the fact that most of her songs (maybe "most" is not a proper word here, but well, you can readit as "a lot of") are rather depressive I've always consider Polly as a strong person. Of course we can't tell what kind of person she really is, but still I think that Polly is a strong woman with a really sensitive perception of the world. Making piees like "To Talk To You" could be even therapeutic - well, I am definetly not a musician, but i write a bit and for me making some kind of dark&twisty piece is helpful to get over some daily problems and sorrows. So I'll try to not to be worried about her. I want her to live forever, no matter how childish this wish is =.=DrDark wrote:She's come close recently though. thanks dr. dark for this review i still feel in alternating shock and denial about mark linkous' death and although i was on the sparklehorse mailing list i don't think there is a forum such as this so i've been glad to read touchingly written reviews such as this one. xbella
