Early Dorset Echo Articles

Post by hopewell »

Archives of the Dorset Echo have shown up in newspapers.com recently...almost makes up for my disappointment over the online archives of the Yeovil paper never going beyond 1987. There are some mentions of Polly.

Feb 25 1988 polkats

Jul 9 1988 article doesn't mention her but it's come up here before that Polly was in this band

Aug 25 1988 surprised this made the newspaper

Jan 30 1992 this was a "Brilliant Birthdays" concert

May 7 1994 band director says nice things about her near the end of the article

From the Lyme Regis News:

Sep 30 1988 Polly among a list of students with "excellent results" on A Level exams (there follows a long list of students and their results which I don't need to reproduce here, Polly passed exams in Art and English Literature)

Dec 15 1989 short item with photo
