Hanging In The Wire is beautiful. I've totally ruined the album for myself (god I hope not) but the songs we've heard so far are so wonderful, they're worth my greediness.

We won't delete them until the album is released. The policy for leaks the Team has agreed upon is the following:

The Garden Policy wrote:
Previews of upcoming official releases, such as clips or tracks played on the radio, will be shared freely and removed up to the release date. However, full leaks will not be posted.

We will, however, move all links to the Amusement Park section.

On a personal note now, thank you guys for sharing the songs. They're sublime. Glorious Land, OMG.

"New PJ Harvey album is extraordinarily strange - like Bjork in an Edie Brickell suit doing Joni Mitchell down a mineshaft."

I'm not going to spoil the surprise of the new album, so far I only listened to Written on the Forhead and The Last living rose. It's hard to resist, but seriously, all these previews are the worst way of promoting a forthcoming album I've ever seen, PJ's management sucks.
We can already listen to half of the album in no tracklist order, and the next single is due for next week: SEVEN songs out of 12!! what the f**k?!

The Glorious Land reminds me of an Arcade Fire B-side or something (not a compliment...), and I think that horn flourish is trying a bit too hard. I keep listening to that clip of All and Everyone from the secret show. She sounds amazing when she starts singing, the melody is so good.

True but I think this is good. It seems more accessible than her other albums and yet it's still daring and new. I'm really impressed.

Hanging In The Wire is soo damn beautiful.

I wonder what the concept for the video TWTMM will be, and how good it will be. And if she's made it yet or not.

One minute fifty four? Listen now? They seem to be playing some stupid rave song which goes for about 5 minutes.

^ You can fastforward. I really like it. It's so weird that all these songs make me want to dance and yet she's singing about lumps of meat and limbs in wires. Thank you for sharing!

Ditto. She really has the music to make epic videos and imagery. But 1-she probably won't have funding, 2-she may just end up using the short films that are already made.

Yes, that clip from the secret show really grabbed me. It may turn out that the live versions of the songs are better than the album tracks. Gotta say I'm not a fan of the revely horn sample. Anyone at the secret show remember if they used it there?
