They are available on Youtube now. Someone must have gotten them.

Did anyone by any chance rip the audio from youtube?? I was going to do so myself but they were removed before I had chance.

I've somehow refrained from listening so far, I want to wait for the album, but it's too tempting.

At first listening of "bitter branches" I thought this is some new indie band or something. Cause that upbeat base line is so loved by them. But then, voila, PJ sings, and she makes that song her own, and i won't be able to confuse it with anything else. I loved the chorus part, where she's doing two-voice thingy (how do you call it?) It is beautiful harmony. As in "scents of our homelands acting like lovers". I hope I express myself understandably... :)

Glorious land is weirder. The trumpet is even annoying! And children choir? That's really DIFFERENT from everything she's ever done! :) And I like the feeling, that I'll have to listen to it more than usual, just because I don't like it straight away :) I think this is something PJ Harvey fan's have in common...

I've been a follower of The Garden for years now, but my excitement about LES prompted me to become a proper member recently. With every song that comes out, the more "beside myself" I become. From what I've heard, I think LES will be my favorite thing Polly has done thus far. Wow.

On another note, I wanted to share that I received the best Christmas gift EVER a couple of weeks ago.... My cousin gave me an autographed electric guitar signed by PJH, herself! I've tried to post a pic, but I'm having a difficult time figuring out the intricacies of forum posting. Anywho, good to be part of the group! XXXOOO
