Note to all:

The board software has been updated, we were a couple of versions behind. Hopefully things will work better somehow, I'm not sure exactly how, but I guess we'll see. If you have any problems, you can report them here or PM me.

Thanks!

I've received word that next Monday, April 19th beginning at 12:45 AM, some servers at our ISP will be down for maintenance. I'm not sure if this affects us or not, but if the site is down at that time, this is why. They expect to be done no later than 4 AM.

Thank you, this has been a public service announecment.

Argh, gmail has suddenly started marking all of my garden notifications as spam even though I mark every single one as not spam and have the email address in my contacts. what gives, gmail?

if anyone has any idea on how to make this stop and go back to what it should normally do, please share :)

Yeah, anyone?

I noticed that too lately. In fact, the notification that somebody posted to this thread went right into the spambox. Even though I've been marking them as "Not spam." Maybe if we make the Garden our friend and add it to our address book?

Enjoying the new look here. The icon next to Amusement Park is always different than the others.
It has a folder on it, see pic.

If you're uploading it to the board, it's very strict about the maximum size (200x300) as well as the maximum file size (23kb). You can't exceed either one.

We were concerned about filling up the server, so there's a pretty small limit on file size, still it should be doable without sacrificing any noticeable picture quality. Also, WE HATE HUGE AVATARS! Well, really big ones anyway, we thought this size was reasonable.

I've been on the road today, sorry I didn't get to it earlier. Nice pic Yarn!

yeah i had it at 20kb and i tried to resize it in those little pixel boxes at the bottom to 200x200 and it wouldn't let me :( but it's all squared away now, thanks again Hell! (i really like my picture too  )

Ah, the little pixel boxes are supposed to be set to what the picture actually is, you can't, apparently, set the size smaller and have it work. I cropped it in Photoshop. :)

How long do PM's take to get sent out?

Post by Thatwaslove »

I've sent one this morning but it's stuck in my Outbox - do these things just take time, or does the other person have to login to pick them up?

The recipient does have to log in to pick them up and I think PMs are in your outbox until then.
