You're probably right Olivier, I just never knew about it until I started doing HTML, around 1995. You would use a non-breaking space between the "PJ" and "Harvey" so the two words would always stick together wherever in the paragraph her name appeared.

I don't have an answer for your problem P-phoniac, there are different keystrokes to create them, read about it here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Non-breaking_space
Or you might ask someone at the library.

on my own computer I only use non-breaking space in single instances, I had no idea you could make whole texts with non-breaking spaces.

so, shall we expect a third Troxy show...

they could easily sell out a half dozen shows in London, don't you think?

Yes. It's sad to see on ebay tickets for the gigs at three times price already.
I was wondering if this tour will preceed the album release or not.

I've had such a bad time of it with See(no)Tickets recently I'm actually considering going back to TicketMasher next time, must be desparate! :)

When Pixies did the 2 shows at Troxy last year they e-mailed their fanlists first (so they had first go) before announcing the shows publically, then set up their own online ticket system with no surcharges of any sort. All you had to do was register on their site, pay the £30 then print off your own (named) ticket with a barcode from the email they sent back. Hopefully this will be the way forward for a lot of artists in the future.

It's hard to believe it's 2010 and ticket selling websites are still so ugly and unable to handle more than a few users. Shame shame shame!

Can't believe it. She doesn't tour for two years, then announces her London date which just happens to coincide with when I'm due to have my baby! But I'm sure she'll carry on touring for many years to come!

For those lucky enough to get tickets, will be looking to you to get some good footage!

so why not go to the show anyway?
then what if the moment of parturition should occur...
what better start in life for your baby than to be born at a P J Harvey concert!
just imagine how you feel the little legs start kicking inside your belly when Polly is playing Man-size.
parturition is more likely to occur if you go there, as baby is feeling the urge to get out in order better to hear the music.
