"She’s been comparatively quiet – well, low-key, shall we say – in recent years, but PJ Harvey remains so influential that she could join Kate Bush in Recluseland and easily maintain similar levels of devotion. Harvey’s most recent material suggests a slight taming of her trademark ferocity, but last year’s A Woman a Man Walked By confirmed that by ’eck, she’s still got it. LM"
