He spoke of the latest PJH album he's just finished producing. He says that
it's really good and that it might be coming out in February.

So what are you guys doing to survive this PJ drought? Do you still listen to her often? I've been playing Is This Desire? a LOT lately and also discovering some Bsides.
I hope this shit comes out this fall. Do you think that's likely?

I sorta figured an Oct 2010 release was too soon after recording. They still need to mix it. With distribution and everything, I can easily see a Feb 2011 release. I'll bet they'll start a tour down under shortly after that, then the UK, Europe and the states later in the spring.

Is there a link to this? I can't seem to find it. The closest Yahoo group I can find is this one:

There are lots of PJ Harvey Yahoo groups. Years ago I even joined some of them so I could read the (extremely scant) messages. I haven't checked any of them since then since most of them were full of porn spam.

Yes but it's quite long if we compare this to others releases... "White Chalk" was recorded between November 2006 and March 2007 and released at the end of September 2007, "Stories" was recorded between March and April 2000 and released in October 2000, "Is this desire" recorded between April 1997 and April 1998 and released in September 1998... It usually took between 5 or 6 months to release the album after it was recorded. So, it seems quite long knowing that they finished to record it at the end of May/beginning of June (according to John Parish myspace) but it can be an exception.
