G20?
Yes, Saturday was the norm for this kind of thing I suppose. You know the deal, dick heads in black breaking shit, few torched police cars that kind of thing. But Sunday night the tables were turned on alot of folks in a residential area. Wrong place wrong time and were treated like animals. I've stopped trying to understand. I was pissed off sunday night and needed somewhere to write a line or two but I shouldn't be dragging bad vibes through Polly's Garden
Dear world,
If your thinking of hosting a G20 Summit...DON'T
Love Toronto
Sorry to hear that, bluesman.
"Excuse me, Mr. Toronto person, I wish to know the way to bluesman's house."
"Yeh, just take a left here, down a couple of blocks and turn right just past the 2 burning cop cars!"
"So, just follow the smoke, then?"
"Yep!" :-)
The Black Bloc. Interesting stuff came out about them after the Genoa G8 summit in 2001.
'Police and security services have infiltrated black blocs with agents provocateurs. Allegations first surfaced after several demonstrations. At the 2001 G8 summit in Genoa, amongst the many complaints about the police [16] there was mention of video footage in which "men in black were seen getting out of police vans near protest marches."[17] In August 2007, Quebec police admitted that "their officers disguised themselves as demonstrators." However, they were easily recognized by the genuine protesters as police, as they were still wearing their police-issue footwear.[18][19]'
