Last movie? Volver. So sweet and sour at the same time. And it was nice to hear some spanish ;)

Nah, I want to pass my damn exams already so I could rest and watch something without feeling guilty about "wasting time" =.=

Indeed :) And beautiful - some shots are just amazing. And those colors, lighting.. <3 But I was rather delighted after movie, it's so warm and optimistic after all.

Moon- thought it was really well done, clever and good soundtrack
just watched White Ribbon Michael Haneke's really great , disturbing film , beautifully filmed in B&W

I keep reading good things about 'White Ribbon'.

'Moon' is an excellent film; Clint Mansell's music is excellent; Sam Rockwell's performance is extraordinary.

Duncan Jones is working on another sci-fi film and has another sci-fi film 'lined-up' for next year.

Duncan Jones accepting his award for Outstanding Debut by a British Director at the Baftas. The loveliest acceptance I have seen. Decent man...

I've just watched Julie Delpy's "The Countess", and it's fucking terrifying. I adore her but after this I also fear her. It has many disturbing scenes and very beautiful ones as well. It's a very smart, thought provoking film, because apparently she's just a terrific writer. I really admire her for being able to star in the film, direct it, write it and compose the soundtrack of it. I think that with 2 days in Paris she did all that and also served as editor, so this is really a vacation for her. Julie, I assume you read this, so congratulations on a job well done.

Iron Man 2 (it's online already and not that difficult to find ;) )

Meh, I liked the first one better. The villains seem so comical in this one. It's almost like they are trying too hard. Also, Mickey Rourke's russian accent? LOL. Overall, a good popcorn flick.

Judex old but worth watching for the wonderful masks in one scene- have to say i was rather misled by the picture on the box and thought there would be more of the bird masks whereas it was mostly a conspiracy story

Dolls- some really beautiful scenes, loosely based on Japanese Puppet Theater Bunraku, about love/longing guilt /death

noi albino icelandic film about alienation enjoyable and quirky

New Moon , watched it partly because i thought the tonal range in the first one really wonderful, although that range still present in some scenes i thought overall it was visually disppointing and too long
