Just noticed the release date for the Voyager 7" is 4th December! That's ages away, I'm guessing the release will be accompanied by the news of the new album.

We're overdue for a PJH/John Parish collaboration.

It was 13 years after the 1996 collab Dance Hall at Louse Point that 2009's A Man A Woman Walked By came out.

Weird. She is credited in the metadata for this album on a bunch of different streamers (Apple Music, Amazon Music, Shazam – which I think uses the same source as the former as it is owned by Apple) but there is no press release that would mention her involvement in this project. I would write it off a tagging error if she hadn’t put a track by Sean Shibe on her last playlist – this suggests she was listening to his music so a collaboration is not out of the realm of possibility? Weird to learn of it this way, though.

PJ is credited with additional vocals on these 2 songs, but could be anyone tbh!

Oh, that’s cool, thanks! It’s true that these BVs are pretty anonymous-sounding but it’s nice to see her being a bit more collaborative and working with other musicians.

I've just finished listening to the album. It's a weird thing, really. Some tracks are better than others, but i do agree they all sound anonymous. Polly's major and provable contribution apparentely was talking in a couple of tracks ( title not known and incomplete and the Abider) and humming in some others. Maybe she played some instruments, even though she isn't credited for it. At first i was hoping for some weird baroque-sounding and doomsday-themed mirabilia, but alas i was mistaken. It is what it is.

as they say, good things come in threes, so hopefully PJ and JP will make a final collab album one day. I genuinely hope so.
