Hi Everyone,

Bascially after joining the new forum a few months ago, I have decided that I might as well be friendly, and introduce myself.

My name is Murray and I come from Scotland in the UK. Basically, I found out about PJ Harvey, through her work on the Desert Sessions and liked what I heard. So I decided to look up her Solo Stuff, and got a copy of Stories.... and I guess I got more into her music from there. Then I ended up here, just to learn more and I enjoy reading the various posts/threads on the forum.

I guess starting with the Desert Sessions is a bit strange, but I'm into QoTSA which got me listening to the Desert Sessions, which then got me listening to PJ Harvey.

I guess starting with the Desert Sessions is a bit strange, but I'm into QoTSA which got me listening to the Desert Sessions, which then got me listening to PJ Harvey.

for me it's been an influence in the opposite direction: it was PJ Harvey that got me into listening to QoTSA. ( thank you Polly!)
