I also think she will play the entire record live, just like for LES, for what I've seen. But lately, for big shows, she added some old material. Well, I think the TH6DP material could work with tracks like Nina in Ecstasy, The River, Civil War Correspondant, Big Exit, The Sky Lit Up... Just like for LES. Even if it's quite odd... Don't you think?

There's no doubt that if Polly had done a reflective cathartic appraisal of being a middle aged woman than a reportage and description of unpleasant scenes in a tough environment it would have got better reviews. The lyrics definitely leave the reviewers a little bit cold.

I wouldn't have a problem with her writing about her life again, but that would just be strange at least for a few more years. If she went from political back to herself it'd cheapen les shake to me. But since she's continuing the political work it seems more invOlved. Not just a fad or something.
Lyrically, what she's doing is very new, you have to admit that. It's quite separate from what anybody else is doing. Most white female singers are not concerned with problems outside the white, first world females.

Track-by-track liner notes: https://www.discogs.com/PJ-Harvey-The-Hope-Six-Demolition-Project/release/8383664.

Information from Wikipedia has some differences:

Flood – producer, mixing
Rob Kirwan – engineer, recording
Catherine Marks – mixing assistant
John Catlin – mixing assistant
John Parish – additional producer
Mick Harvey – additional producer
PJ Harvey – additional producer

I'm guessing the wikipedia info came from a reviewer's copy. The official liner notes should be authoritative at this point. Please edit the wiki page and add a reference of the actual liner notes of a retail purchased copy?

Here are some songs I think would sound great alongside the Hope 6 tracks in a live setting:

Primed & Ticking
Claudine the Inflatable One
Losing Ground
Highway 61 Revisited
Lying in the Sun
Somebody's Down, Somebody's Name
The Wind
The Garden
The River
Sweeter Than Anything
A Place Called Home
My Own Private Revolution
66 Promises
April
The Chair
The Soldier
Passionless, Pointless
Cracks in the Canvas
White Chalk
Before Departure
The Mountain
Let England Shake (with band + the 4 Lads sample!)
Written on the Forehead
Shaker Aamer
Lonely Avenue

***
Some are a total long shot, but I think all of these fit in with the new material either thematically or sonically.

I think in the past, she's been unable to escape having to play DBTW

I'm finding it more productive to listen to the music and ignore the lyrics at this point

Well I imagine this whole record will be on. All and Everyone, In The Dark Places would really go well with these songs. Some of the Stories songs, reworked a little, I could imagine going quite nice. The River. I could see her singing Water. Honestly can't see her performing anything from Rid Of Me, could you imagine her singing Dry after Dollar Dollar lol? I can see some of the TBYML songs working quite well, esp c'mon billy. She performed that recently, so that makes it more likely/

I imagine a lot of her older songs will be reworked to incorporate saxophone and all the other people she'll have on stage.
