2009 Tour Rider

Post by soulfadelic »

Came across this... pretty interesting to see what she demands and some of the gear she uses for a solo show. I think there was another one of these for the 2004 tour.

Interesting! Since this is a solo show. I have the one from 2004. Somewhere.

Fascinating, but she didn't do any solo shows in June 2009. WTF?

"We will allow non professional cameras but we would like to avoid the use of flash."

I remember asking twice if we in the audience could use flash at the El Rey gig in March of 2009 and twice they said it was okay.

The Bestival show in 2009 was a solo show.

Correct, but it as well as the Wedgewood secret show were in July 2009. I suppose they could've recycled this June 2009 rider for these 2 shows. Maybe she has a standard rider available and they change the date as needed.

That's class! Decided to write my own rider for when I stay with friends, only got as far as breakfast so far

Assam Tea, freshly picked and dried on the foothills of Bangalore that very morning
1x Coco Pops (Generic substitutes are UNACCEPTABLE)
1x stolen Holiday Inn dressing gown (must be in original packaging)
1x Maid Service (Organic)

Probably won't have any friends by the time I'm done I can see

Re: the catering on the rider...
rock musicians who need bottle openers - come on!
also, imagine having that night after night for the entire tour... or do you think they may have laid out a varied menu, alternating through out?

the description about the fans is a bit obscene..... is like we are crazies, zombies, some class of animals studied and analysed: "enthusiastics", "will try AND GAIN access" loooool
well indeed, we try and we get it if theres no security hohoho
