My least listened to PJ album is Dry. I do love the CD but the sound frustrates me some times. No matter how high I turn up the volume it still sounds low to me. I think UHH produced some incredible songs, especially songs like It's You or The Letter, but it's not compelling as a whole. I do think that was her purpose though, to come up with something abrasive, disconnected and difficult to swallow. It's safe to say, she doesn't have a major dud in her catalogue. I mean, even her bsides would make one epic album.

I don't mind saying I think Dry has the worst cover art...

Also it annoys me that it's become common to not like Stories just because it was her most commercial poppy album.

I don't want to sound kinda integralist, but I can't think of a worst PJ album. Maybe I can think of the one I actually listen to the less, and it's probably Stories.

Stories is great. I do think in the whole scheme of things, however, it is probably one of her less interesting albums, and that's got nothing to do with how commercial it is.

Whatever her worst album may be in one's view, it's still a good one for a lot of people. She is that good.

I probably listen to White Chalk the least and yet I do think it's genius, hardly her worst effort. It just doesn't suit me somehow, but someday it might. I think Uh Huh Her is her most uneven work, so maybe that's a "worst." But any particular song from Uh Huh Her or Stories can go into a mix or a set list and shine, especially live.

I think my least favourite is Uh Huh Her but every album has his wonderful "concept" and would not delete anything she has done.

Definitely Stories.
There are a few good songs on it but I don't like the production and most of it really sounds all fake and forced to me, like "I wanted to do my poppy, clean record". It's a sort of exercise.
UHH may have weakest songs on it but sounds more sincere to me and seems overall more ambitious.

Some of the worst songs may be on AWAMWK though. I really can't listen to Passionless, Pointless and Cracks in the Canvas without laughing.

i haven't listened to UHH much as of late, but i wouldn't call it the worst album. i feel like it's impossible to pick a worst album because they're all so different from each other that they're not comparable. i guess it depends on the aspect you're focusing on i.e. the mixing on dry and rid of me is not good and i'm not particularly wowed by all the lyrics of stories or uhh, but i think they're all very good albums

for me none Polly disk is bad all I like, all from the Dry are different and proves to the musical evolution of PJ, maybe some fans would like more discs more than others but none are really bad :green:
