Do we know in wich formats the new album will be available?
Personally, I really would like a cd+dvd with all the videos, but no rumors about a dvd have surfaced yet and it seems unlikely now

Hello,
I've been following posts here for a while - great source of information. I'm just wondering, does anybody have a ticket for 28th Feb at Troxy for sale? I bought what I thought were two tickets off ebay, and then realised it was just one! I don't mind going on my own all that much but would rather bring a friend. Thanks, Stefan

I remembre that in the press report it told about a final film, even in the spinner video itw she talked 'bout it, that Seamus make short films to go with each song for the record
& then later on (he want) to make a long former film, as a response of Harvey's work.

Quote:
PRESS RELEASE:

PJ Harvey’s new album was recorded in a 19th Century church in Dorset, on a cliff-top overlooking
the sea. It was created with a cast of musicians including such long-standing allies as Flood, John
Parish, and Mick Harvey. It is the eighth PJ Harvey album, following 2007’s acclaimed ‘White Chalk’, and
the Harvey/Parish collaboration ‘A Woman A Man Walked By’.

Such are the bare facts. But what is remarkable about ‘Let England Shake’ is bound up with its
music, its abiding atmosphere – and in particular, its words. If Harvey’s past work might seem to draw on
direct emotional experience, this new album is rather different. Its songs centre on both her home country,
and events further afield in which it has embroiled itself. The lyrics return, time and again, to the
matter of war, the fate of the people who must do the fighting, and events separated by whole ages, from
Afghanistan to Gallipoli. The album they make up is not a work of protest, nor of strait-laced social or
political comment. It brims with the mystery and magnetism in which she excels. But her lyric-writing in
particular has arrived at a new, breathtaking place, in which the human aspects of history are pushed to
the foreground. Put simply, not many people make records like this.

Marketing Notes:
• Music videos have been made for each track on the album. They will be released periodically online throughout the album’s campaign
• PJ will play a string of shows in Europe- Fly away contests will be set up in the US for major market European shows.
• An EPK will be launched prior to the albums release on PJ Harvey’s web properties
• A Banner ad campaign promoting Let England Shake will be run on Stereogum, Hype Machine, Brooklyn Vegan,
Gorilla Vs. Bear, and RCRD LBL
• Print ads will run in Filter, Fader, SUP and more
• The album will be serviced to a list of over 400 Film/TV music supervisors
• Advance copies of the album have been serviced to over 300 media outlets, both online and print
• PJ Harvey will be playing a string of shows throughout the US in major markets surrounding her confirmed
Coachella appearance
• Let England Shake will be serviced to Non-Comm, College, and Specialty Radio formats around street date

Well, watermarks make their psychological forbidding work.

To the egoistic journalists - Open something like freesoundrecorder - Play the album - make the rip (sound from your audiocard). And watermarked has nothing to do...
I'm really surprised that it has'nt leaked yet. Very strange. I though it had come to sb's mind...

No one has it to upload. We've only heard a 30 second clip.

I'm not sure how I feel about that sample she used, it kinda sounded like the woman was being strangled or something lol.
