Re: The Art Thread

Holy guacamole! This thread needs a bump. I want to see more of your favourite pieces!

RInko Kawauchi will probably always reside as my favourite photographer. I love everything about her work. It literally refreshes me to look at it.

Re: Bradford Cox (Deerhunter) on PJ & other things.

Dude, enjoyed that interview! Love a bit of Deerhunter too. Pretty cool that he identified with her " creepy awkwardness". I never saw her as creepy awkward! Just always exuding bolshy confidence. I've never heard Bradford Cox interviewed before. Or seen him for that matter! Always interesting to ...

Re: Audio: New song from Polly

I heard this just this morning and thought I had to come here! Hello! Late to the party, as always! I really loved this the first time I heard it. Really gets me riled up and excited. For so much. It's terrifically stirring! If it was written with the sole intention of raising awareness of the ...

Re: Troxy tonight

I might've seen some of you and not known it! I have really short hair and was wearing black framed glasses and a black Placebo hoodie. It's a shame I didn't think to pop on here while I was there! Eejit!

Re: Comments about tonight's Troxy gig

Seeing The Sky Lit Up BLEW MY MIND! I was beaming! The only bad thing I've got to say about the gig is about her level of interaction! Not even a hello! Only a thankyou at the end. That annoyed me!

Pocket Knife was fantastic too! Cripes I could go on about the whole set! But as Skinned said ...

Re: "Damn They're Hot" Thread

Some new ones of Julia Bradbury.

Have to admit I've been looking at the first two a lot.
Bloody hell, looks good!
And what am I doing finding time to look at the website of a tv presenter?

m

OH MY GAWD! Where has this thread been all my life?! Julia Bradbury, OUI OUI! Same for Chan Marshall ...

Re: Moving to London

I am indeed English. I will be going into temporary accommodation very soon so we might just overlap nicely for when they want to kick me out! I have an interview with the housing people on Friday so I'll let you know how that goes.

Re: Moving to London

I realise I'm a bit late to the party here, but I'm recently homeless and I live in London. I'm waiting to be rehoused at the moment (hence my lack of input on here!) but I'll definately let you know if I come across a 2 bedroom+. I really need a flat mate and can't find one for love nor money! I'm ...

Re: Polly live at BBC tomorrow!

I bloody love you lot! I've been in hospital for the past two months and have missed out on everything! I am so happy right now! A big thanks to Dickie and those who transcribed the lyrics!

I really hope there isn't much more sampling on this album despite how much I love the two samples so far. I ...

Re: Polly's New Album: What We Know So Far

Polly appears to have registered a handful of new songs at BMI:
m

The new ones have more digits, making them easy to spot:

Bitter Branches
England
Gloriuos Land
In The Dark Places
Written on the Forehead
Words that Maketh Murder

And yes, that is not a mistake with "Gloriuos" . That's the way ...
