Re: Polly's New Album: What We Know So Far

Me too. In 2012 i had hoped for a 2014 release. But this doesn't seem to be very likely now being in the mid 2013, does it?

Re: "What if we reformed Nirvana with PJ Harvey?" - Dave Gro

I got the news from a PJ Harvey facebook page (the official one? - http://www.facebook.com/PJHarvey), which says that Grohl had actually asked her. But this is not what I read here.

Anyway, PJ would have turned him down in the same way, she has turned down Cobain's offer to go on tour with Nirvana in the early 90s.

This is probably a very old statement, isn't it?

23th March, PJ Harvey's Roskilde show 2011 on zdf kultur

Next friday on German tv station ZDFkultur: PJ Harvey at Roskilde 2011. The programme is scheduled from 5:30 to 6:00 pm (+1 GMT). A few month ago they already had some Roskilde shows on their programme, but unfortunatly without PJ Harvey.

The tabs around on the internet do not seem very accurate. Does anyone have an idea?

Re: PJ Harvey Announces More European Shows For October

absolutely perfect!
how thoughtful of Polly to book a show in Prague at such a convenient date
(as if she knew that I would be in Frankfurt the day before,
and I was actually planning to go to Prague on October 27th anyway).
this is truly fantastic!

I remember her stating in a 1990s interview that she liked Take That and that they were good looking. Anyone who can remember that as well?

Re: PJ Harvey has a general disregard for today’s popular mu

It's just the normal thing that happens when you're growing older, isn't it? Being in my teenage years and my early twenties I bought loads of records, because I was discovering the world of music for myself. There was a lot of average stuff among bands I'm listening to up until today.

Growing ...

A meet and greet sounds more like a typical boy band or Kate Perry like thing to me. I hope she's never gonna start anything like that.

Re: PJ's Olympia concert on ARTE TV

Unfortunatly they didn't show the whole concert, e.g. there were no White Chalk songs.

Here's the setlist:

Let England Shake
The Words That Maketh Murder
All&Everyone
The Guns Called Me...
Written On The Forehead
In The Dark Places
The River
Sky Lit Up
The Glorious Land
The Last Living Rose ...

Re: PJ's Olympia concert on ARTE TV

Actually it's quite normal here that concerts are broadcast in the middle of the night. Most people who were interested recorded it anyway.

The concert is available at http://videos.arte.tv/de/videos#/tv/coverflow///1/100/

Btw: The Words that Maketh Murder is such a brilliant song when played life. Really powerful.
