She's come close recently though. Broken Harp, To Talk To You and Before Departure. Should we be worried?

The song is beautiful. Was listening to radio broadcast about Linkous last night and they played it for a few times. Sad, but beautiful.

In spite of the fact that most of her songs (maybe "most" is not a proper word here, but well, you can readit as "a lot of") are rather depressive I've always consider Polly as a strong person. Of course we can't tell what kind of person she really is, but still I think that Polly is a strong woman with a really sensitive perception of the world. Making piees like "To Talk To You" could be even therapeutic - well, I am definetly not a musician, but i write a bit and for me making some kind of dark&twisty piece is helpful to get over some daily problems and sorrows. So I'll try to not to be worried about her. I want her to live forever, no matter how childish this wish is =.=

thanks dr. dark for this review i still feel in alternating shock and denial about mark linkous' death and although i was on the sparklehorse mailing list i don't think there is a forum such as this so i've been glad to read touchingly written reviews such as this one. xbella
