Yeah, that's another thing that helps search engine placement, the number of sites that link to you. Right now, it's zero, we will be notifying the people we know about.

We've been added to Wikipedia a number of times, but we always get deleted, presumably because of our "library." The gigography is listed though, and when I figure it out. I'll be moving that to a subdomain here.

For now, you'll be happy to know that I'm working on creating archives from the previous forum.

Megique, check out the options in your User Control Panel. There are subscriptions, bookmarks, and an option to notify you about new posts. I'm not exactly sure how they all work, but maybe one of them will do? If not, let me know. I did a mod yesterday, I'd like to wait and see how stable the board is for a while, but after that I could look into it.

it isn't in UCP's options. i mean the situation when i go to "View new posts" and i have a list of topics and i have to click for everyone separately. on some another forum there was an option to open all of these threads in new windows. there was one link like: "open all new post in new windows" and i didn't have to click everyone seprately. i don't even know if it's possible to set here but i just thought that it might be useful and again, it's nothing necessary, only my idea.

...i don't even know if it's possible to set here but i just thought that it might be useful and again, it's nothing necessary, only my idea.

Well, my php programming skills are just about nil. The mods I've done were ones that were written by others and checked out, I found most of them here - http://www.phpbb.com/customise/

And all of them were rated "easy." The Quick Reply box was a little harder, but there were mods that made links pop out new windows and the last one, made multi line links work. Really mundane stuff.

If you can find a mod that does this, post a link here. I'll look later, just not today or tomorrow.

wow, that's a lot of mods i started to look for the one i wanted but i see that it will take more time. i will try to do it later but i doubt if i will find it :P
