it sounds like a bugle calling the cavalry charge, a classic sonic feature of the battlefield.megique wrote:god, this trumpet (or whatever it is) in Glorious Land is soooooo weird. but i looove it!

I find it exquisitely thrilling to anticipate the videos for these songs.Mattius wrote:They are available on Youtube now. Someone must have gotten them.

12fingered wrote:Far too short, just as I'm getting into the songs, they're over. feels like each song is missing a verse or two. Still rather good
Polly_Jean_Cave wrote:^ Yeah, I would have liked "Bitter Branches" to have been a bit longer.
Repeat Play is the remedy for songs' shortness.Polly_Jean_Cave wrote:"The Glorious Land" is excellent! It needs to go for another 10 minutes!
but you are right, these songs are so good that they ought to have been longer.
however, the positive aspect of Polly's new songs being so short is that there'll be plenty of room for a lot of old songs too in the upcoming concerts. shortish songs allow for a longish setlist.

Did anyone by any chance rip the audio from youtube?? I was going to do so myself but they were removed before I had chance.
I've somehow refrained from listening so far, I want to wait for the album, but it's too tempting.
