Blue Valentine - I wasn't blown away by the movie itself, but the acting by Michelle Williams and Ryan Gosling was superb.

Life is Beautiful - :tear:

The Social Network - Interesting, but award winning? Yeah, I don't get it.... I found it a tad bit on the boring side of things.

The King's Speech - What an enjoyable little look into that part of history. To say I enjoyed this film is an understatement. Colin Firth is such an amazing actor.

Kisses - A movie about two kids who run away from their crappy home lives together and out into the city. Once they realize they can't make it out on their own, they return home, but only after realizing that as long as they have each other, everything will be ok. Bittersweet. I loved the use of black and white imagery blended with color during certain scenes. The Bob Dylan filled soundtrack was a nice touch.

Funny Games- I love this movie but it really creeps me out. Even though there are not any real violence it´s so awfully disturbing. But every time I see it it strikes me how f*cking gorgeous Michael Pitt is!

^haha, not at all. :P

Joan Rivers - A Piece of Work - It was an interesting look into the life of this comedian. I had no clue she was still in need of work. Then again, if you want to maintain that kind of lifestyle, one must. Good for her.

Dogtooth - What the flying fuck...This movie was so bizarre, yet I couldn't look away. Very gripping film. I'm still wrapping my head around it.

Enter The Void - Exhausting. Ugh, why did I watch this? What a pointless piece of crap.

I want to see it but the husband thinks it's just about a bunch of ballerinas (hence why we went to see The Fighter instead).

Must be a little bit deeper than that....surely!?
Some pages back, a few of us discussed it, and favorably! :green:

Yes and it's fantastic! If you've seen any of Darren Aronofsky's other films, you know it'll be more than just a movie about ballerinas. Actually this past Friday I went and saw it again (after already seeing it several times). Don't judge :), I love a good movie and several different groups of friends wanted to see it; I can't pass up the opportunity!
if there's a want for something new, you might find me at the start, or where it ends for you.
