Hope it will be released soon if this is a new album recording, maybe after she releases all her previous records and their demos...
Steve Gullick posted the same picture today and wrote "6th August 2020"...
A photograph taken in 1997 when I was writing the album 'Is This Desire?'. The photographer is my friend and working partner of many years, Eric Drew Feldman, and we were on a road trip in California, stopping to see the ghost town of Bodie.
I think the Uh Huh Her cover photo was taken around the same time, IIRC it was snapped by Eric Drew Feldman during some roadtrip in late 90s, so maybe even the same one!
Edit: Brainfart - obviously the UHH one is a selfie but it's Eric in the background, isn't it? I vaguely remember Polly talking about that cover in some radio interview.
A picture of the wall chart from the Somerset House sessions accompanying the announcement of the Hope Six demos... it seems Polly was unhappy "The Boy" and "Imagine This" didn't make it to the end!
I am so happy that the day has finally come for ‘Orlam’ to be released. After eight years of writing this book it is such an overwhelming joy for me that it will now make its way into the world.

So there is an official PJ Harvey TikTok account now, too, apparently up and running since March – mostly posting clips of her music videos & interviews ripped from YouTube, but the new album teasers are there as well.
The official website had a (slight) revamp, too, and while it retained its all-white aesthetic, it runs slightly differently now. There is also a new Artwork section, featuring Orlam illustrations.
I wish she’d update the site with lyrics to B-sides as well, especially as they’ve now (almost) all been reissued, and she’s on record saying a lot of them are dearer to her than a lot of the album tracks.
There are also some recordings of about ten poems from Orlam and other ten from The Hollow of the Hand, which is a very welcomed addition in my view! Given that I adore her voice no matter what she utters, I think her performing skills do really elevate the poems, especially the new ones.
And I wonder if the background is made of snippets from the upcoming album...!
i don't use Instagram, but on Facebook she doesn't follow anyone as usual, so it's probably a mistake, but i doubt PJ takes care personally of her official social networks accounts, could be a mistake by PJ's media employees.
