Hello Pitifuljoy. It's 'Suedehead' by Morrissey.
I checked on last.fm and someone has attributed it to The Smiths with the wrong title.

From Morrissey's first solo album, 'Viva Hate'. Great album too.

He visits, if I'm not mistaken, James Dean's home town in the video.

Wow! For the longest time i thought it was The Smiths(as I'm not much of a fan of his solo stuff) Live and learn. Thanks! I made the change in my ipod/itunes.

I think all, or some, of the other members of The Smiths played on Morrissey's 'Viva Hate' album, so that could be an easy mistake to make!
