Ian Rickson , stage director: "It's a big band for this tour, a 10-piece. The theatre designer Jeremy Herbert, who designed most of Sarah Kane's plays, has done a very simple, bold design. We're trying to make the space really pure and rough, so that Polly is like this tribal queen or something, with this big tribe and this fantastic sound coming underneath it."
