Great song, BTW
Yeah, I am having a hard time understanding what she is saying there too.
Any ideas?

Another Youtube video. Is this a new image of Polly?

Wiggins is so superbly unassuming, he looks like he's about to say 'Pop the gold medal in the post, I'm nipping out for some biscuits'

classic Polly guitar-solo passion, instrumentally reminiscent of Kick It To The Ground.

^ It's just different strokes for different folks I guess.
Without exaggeration, to me it's already a favourite.

No, I've had that one saved for quite a while so it's nothing new.

I actually like the song now, after a few listens. I hope this means she's back in the studio.

read somewhere that the lines are statment of Shaker Amer, Polly should have written the middle
in Camp 5, eleven years. Never charged. Six years cleared.
and last line

I was also a bit underwhelmed, but then I kept waking up to it in my head over several mornings and throughout the day. It's catchy, simple, direct, and clear- exactly what it should be to serve the purpose of raising awareness for Shaker Aamer and others in his situation. While certainly not my favorite of her work, it's perfectly crafted to do what it's meant to.

I heard this just this morning and thought I had to come here! Hello! Late to the party, as always! I really loved this the first time I heard it. Really gets me riled up and excited. For so much. It's terrifically stirring! If it was written with the sole intention of raising awareness of the plight of Aamer, it does exactly that but it's also so raw and punchy! An awfully bittersweet treat.
