PJ HARVEY SHAKES PRIZREN

Last night, Seamus Murphy and PJ Harvey presented their short film series in the outdoor Kino Bahce to the delight of a packed audience. This song by song video interpretation of Harvey’s acclaimed record LET ENGLAND SHAKE, was the first time all the films had been shown with both Murphy and Harvey in attendance. Afterwards, the two answered questions about their collaboration. Harvey stated that it was important to present this work in Kosovo, since the album deals with the past and present violent conflicts that England has been involved in - something that has added resonance for the Balkans. Murphy and Harvey were thrilled by the Prizren atmosphere as the films were projected under the stars and both promised to return to the region in the near future.
