I watched Master and Commander for the first time last night, just because I like seafarin' movies with an extra ration of grog. Someday, I'll read all the books.

I saw Night of The Hunter last night for the first time since I was about 8. I'm still terrified of Robert Mitchum. One of my favourite films I'd say.

"The Runaways" - really liked this movie <3 Beautiful pictures and brilliant soundtrack (of course). Dakota & Kirsten did a good job :)

"Leaning, leaning..."

Hello Jam; one of the greats, that one. The only film Charles Laughton directed because he hated the hassle from the studio so much he couldn't face going through another experience like it - still made a brilliant film despite it - plus it wasn't well received when first released. The actor Simon Callow wrote a well received book about it for the British Film Institute.

I also saw Dead Snow. It's a zombie movie that acknowledges zombie cliches. It's also Norwegian, I think. Oh, and the zombies are dead Nazis. Yeah, I know. Awesome.

Wow, this one got by me somehow
How can my zombie collection be complete without reanimated nazis?
Must find it...soon :shades:

Thanks for the tip

Well that was fun!

Lilya 4-Ever - My god, talk about your depressing films. You can't help but root for the main character, but if you know the history, you know it wont end well. It's been in my head since I saw it. Great evocative film.

^I just came in here to post about "Black Swan"

I never thought Natalie was much of an actress, but in this movie, she totally blew me away. Amazing performance. Enthralling film.

p.s. its online now for those people who can't find it in theaters just yet. ;)

Saw Black Swan as well, on Friday. After work, I pretty much raced to the theater. I've been waiting to see it since the summer. Everything I wanted it to be and more.

Natalie and Mila were FANTASTIC. wow

Actually going to see it tomorrow again :D

I say wait cause it's such a beautiful film. Plus, sometimes it's hard to see what's happening, small but important details and seeing it on a big screen would help with that!
