Haven't seen it yet, but I cannot wait for Toy Story 3 !!!

Same here! :green: Trailer looks awesome <3 I'm going to take my nephew to the cinema this sunday :D

Mick LaSalle at the Chron gave what pretty much amounts to a perfect review, he didn't have anything bad to say about it, which is unusual.

Quote:
"Toy Story 3" is a better film than "Wall-E" and "Up" in that it succeeds completely in conventional terms. For 103 minutes, it never takes audience interest for granted. It has action, horror and vivid characters, and it always keeps moving forward. It's also less obvious in its ambition. "Wall-E" and "Up" were like experiments in profundity. In "Toy Story 3," everything meaningful is just part of the flow. You'll feel it before you see it coming.

Well, I had to go anyway! ;)

The Human Centipede (First Sequence) - there was oddly a lot of humor in this but it was still disturbing.

So what did the people who saw Toy Story 3 think?

Spoiler! :
I absolutely loved it. The ending was beyond touching and sad. I think I started losing it when they were in the landfill. Damn you Pixar. :tear: lol

I saw this documentary on a program from Frontline called "The Suicide Tourist" which was very poignant and extremely sad.

The Lovely Bones

Meh. The acting was good, but it just didn't come together for me.

Everybody else went to see Toy Story and I couldn't get away. :(

We've rented Crazy Heart, maybe tonight.

"Inland Empire" on Saturday. I never get tired of Lynch.

Have you ever watched a movie on your iPhone? 30 second clip from David Lynch :shades:

Spoiler! :
No way to disagree! I was crying my eyes out when they were falling down to that burning whole. Damn you Pixar - I definetily wasn't prepared for scenes like that!

Love new "Toy Story". Loved first two when I was a kid and now when I am going to move (for collage) in october it was ike "omg, even Andy's going to collage *.*" Naah, I am too sensitive for movies like that. New "Lion King" would probably kill me ;)

Oh god, I fear seeng the Lion King again for that very reason! I don't wanna cry when I watch movies! lol

I too wasn't expecting the dark scenes. My stupid 3D glasses kept getting wet because of the tears. Everyone in the movie theater(which was pretty packed) was completely silent. Even the damn children! I saw it again in the comfort of my own home and cried in peace! *sigh*

Last movie I saw:
Frankie and Johnny - hit a little too close to home for me, but really a good little movie to watch. I don't think I'll ever see Al Pacino the same way again, especially after that sex scene!

Latest:
Toy Story 2
The Karate Kid (I was at a drive-in, it was the second movie forced upon me. Hated it. But then again, I really hate movies like that.)
Girl With The Dragon Tattoo (HOLY GOD SO GOOD, can't wait for the other parts!)
All The Real Girls
Human Centipede-- Shadowboxer and anyone else who saw it:
Spoiler! :
That girl in the middle is FUCKED I don't know how she's getting outta that one!

Exit Through The Gift Shop-- Banksy film, I love him.

Also, I've started rewatching Pushing Daisies and I love that show with all my heart. I literally feel like sunshine is being poured into my body. I feel so happy and light when I finish an episode.

^ Haha, those were my thoughts exactly. Can't wait for the sequel.

I watched "A Serbian Film" last night, it was probably the most disturbing film I've ever seen D:

'Very Bad Things' with Christian Slater. I love him! He played this mean guy too. (it's an older flick, 98 maybe?)

kinda weak ending tho.
