Re: PJ Harvey Announces More European Shows For October

Yeah it's weird. I happen to know that alot of quality music fares better on the norweigian charts than on the swedish but I'm not sure if it necessarily sells in larger quantities. Anyhow, seems like half the tickets in Stockholm went to the companies that try to sel them for 5 times the originalo ...

Re: Polly added to I'll Be Your Mirror Line-up : )

Yes GYBE was amazing. I've never listened to them although I'm well into postrock and instrumental bands. I had goosebumps in 20 minutes-sessions. Elevating. Some songs felt like riding towards the sky, defying gravity like a rocket and then finally reach above the cloud where there is stillness

Re: Polly's New Album: What We Know So Far

Seriously. Why bother doing interviews if she's gonna say the same goddamn things about not wanting to repeat herself et cetera? I love Pollys music but she's usually a quiet boring interview subject. Was astonished by how personal and good the Mojo-interview was though :)

Re: Meet the Gardeners

Hi, my name's Jack and I'm a 21 year old guy. I'm also swedish. I've been a lurker on this forum for maybe two years and I've been into Pj since 2008. Quite recently in other words but I've had a lot of musical idols before and after her. Nowadays it's a lot of that's mainstream to the "underground ...

Re: Moving to London

Sounds brilliant. I'd love to be your flatmate but I'm thinking of leaving for London in the end of May or the first of June or something like that. I fancy you need something much sooner? If not feel free to contact me :) Are you British?

Your own music

I couldn't seem to find such a thread so I thought it best to create a new one either way. Anyhow, I happen to have a new tune lying around: it's as instrumental fingerstyle-piece. Just re-recorded it on the electric guitar! Behold: the glow : http://soundcloud.com/lagemorocka/the-glow" onclick ...

Moving to London

From Stockholm, Sweden. Broke up with my ex less than a month ago and now I've had to withstand the "humiliation" of moving back to my parents (left slightly over a year ago but anyway!). I'm turning the city upside down in search for an apartment but the market in Stockholm is a total disaster ...

Re: Polly's New Album: What We Know So Far

I've been lurking this forum for a few years and now at last I have to come out of the shadows to share your joy over the album. I was kind of puzzled and surprised by Written on the forehead and The last living rose but everything we've heard since is truly, madly, beautiful. England and The ...
