Re: Bjork bootlegs
Thanks for the offer! I'm already on Dime though - they do have a lot of Vespertine-era shows but I'm mostly looking for radio/TV/soundboard stuff and I've think I've picked them clean for that. The only reason I ask here is because I've never been able to register at the Bjork official 4um (always ...

Bjork bootlegs
Anyone have some live Bjork bootlegs to share?
I uploaded a few TV and FM sourced boots that I have, and I'll share if anyone's interested. I'm a new fan so my collection is very small, but one thing I definitely want is Glastonbury '07 from the pre-FM CDR (not the one from TV which I already have)

Don't get me started on the "Peel Sessions" album!!! Now that I think about it, it's like she deliberately left off more obscure, unique tracks in favor of "safe" album tracks.

Re: Polly's New Album: What We Know So Far
So what are you guys doing to survive this PJ drought? Do you still listen to her often? I've been playing Is This Desire? a LOT lately and also discovering some Bsides.
I hope this shit comes out this fall. Do you think that's likely?
It seems like I have a big PJ party every couple of years ...

Re: Best of PJH / best songs for new listeners
I would probably go with album tracks only, -maybe- a Peel Sessions track.
Rufus T's mix rocks, but if I were going to use that many live tracks, I'd just make them all live tracks (there are great live versions of Hardly Wait, 30, and You Said Something out there btw!!).
what I was really trying ...

Best of PJH / best songs for new listeners
I have this obsession with making bootleg "best of" albums for prolific artists who don't have them... or do have them, but they suck (lookin' at you Tori Amos!!).
what songs would put on a PJH retrospective? would it be fan favorites, or accessible songs for beginners? would the track order be ...

looks like a pre-FM source!
if it's promotional/not official, is it ok to ask for flac?
