Re: Full back catalogue REISSUES + demos (SFTCSFTS on Feb 26
Is there any hope of a B sides demo album at the end of all this? Obviously some are probably the demo already like Kick It To The Ground for example. But songs like Memphis, The Bay etc it would be so great to hear demos of them. Plus The Northwood which I am dying to hear a full version of (if it ...

I haven't listened to the whole album yet but Kamikaze is a stand-out for me at the moment. I may prefer it to the studio version. Looking forward to the rest of the demos!

Re: Walking Dead_The World Beyond ('The Devil' featured)
I threw the episode on as I had nothing else to do and was very surprised to hear Polly! Then I remembered they featured a song from Uh Huh Huh in the other Walking Dead spin-off. I can't remember the exact episode but it was a couple of years ago. I think someone on the Walking Dead staff must be a ...

Really enjoyed the documentary. Was great seeing all those clips from the recording process, though I did not spot myself, haha!
Has anyone ripped the new/alternate tracks yet? Age of the Dollar is fantastic!

Re: All About Eve - stage play
I'd never have thought I'd hear Gillian Anderson on a Polly record. A lovely surprise and a good song.
I'm quite glad most of the songs are instrumentals - which I fully expected being a soundtrack. I finally have a Polly album to write to - there's almost a Polly album for every mood now.

Really loving this new track. Would love an album with this vibe, with Polly on every track.

The River. Someone started too early, Polly turned round and they re-started.czuczu wrote:I was down by the barrier and you could taste it in the air..
They false started another number near the end of the set didn't they?

I would hope she's okay with the label now because no matter what she thinks she has been a feminist icon.

An amazing gig! Her vocal slip up (frog in her throat) at the beginning of River Anacostia was adorable, and she recovered well! The crowd loved it.

'The Desperate Kingdom of Love' was used in the season two finale of Fear the Walking Dead. I was quite surprised when it came on!

Re: Echoes of Anacostia
I was watching the HBO show 'The Leftovers' and saw two different Polly connections. The first is in season one, in the second or third episode someone is rooting through CDs in a car and you can plainly see Polly's 'Let England Shake'. And in the second season one of the songs of the soundtrack is ...
