My son got some really pernicious malware (Windows), it took me several hours to get rid of it. And he has anti-virus software. It may have been after his passwords, but it was hard to say, it's main purpose seemed to be
to install more viruses.
DrDark tells me that Norton Utils is a system hog on PC, that seems to be true on my ancient Windows machine. The Intego software seems pretty compact, I need to remember to run it once in a while, although I think it does detect some incoming stuff too. The only think I don't like about it is when the firewall detects an outside computer scanning me, the warning comes up with this big yellow and black sign and goes...
