Changes in the Staff

Post by Hell and High Water »

I thought I should wait until all the decisions were made, but I can see that it may not happen soon. There's been a couple of changes to the Garden team.

First, DrDark is our very first, Global Moderator! Which is why he is now blue. We wish him best of luck, this is uncharted territory.

And you may have already noticed, Mart is now a moderator. Rah!

Mart has been with us since the beginning, this decision was easy. :green:

Welcome aboard Mart! Definitely unanimous vote. That's not easy, there's always someone who doesn't think you're hot enough. Or that you're too hot and will steal their thunder.

As for the Doc, I'm still surprised he wasn't moderating everything yet. It's like when he wasn't a moderator and everyone was like, whaaaat, he wasn't a moderator yet? He wasn't a global moderator yet? He wasn't the president yet?

Congratulations! Don't let it go to your ego :]
I live in palm beach gardens and am trying to become self sufficient - I want to grow my own food.. most of it. Any tips are appreciated!

Everyone, welcome sau, our new moderator of the General Forums.

This closes the staff changes for now. I just wanted to say that I am personally very happy to realize that during this process we were able to think of several gardeners we figured would be excellent staff members. We can safely say that at this point we have a solid base of regular users who collaborate in making this place a great PJ Harvey resource on the internet and a wonderful community. Thank you for being around, and make sure we truly appreciate what you bring to the forum.

I would also like to give a shout out to past staff members who helped make The Garden what it is today: Lea (whose username I can't remember  ), Lia (name_withheld), Caz (Lolita - still around) and Howard (who we are glad to see has recently returned). I am forever thankful to you all.
