Wonderful interview. Thanks for sharing. Isn’t it something how she’s doing quite a few of these now, after having not done any for ten whole years? It’s a relief to hear from her.

I’m also heartened to hear she loves stand-up and Gervais in particular. I have to say I’m not surprised at that.

Personally I find it a bit disappointing to see her praising Gervais (I can't stand him) but thank you for sharing the article. I do wonder if this sudden surge of press appearances after a decade of almost total radio silence was contractually enforced by her publisher though!

I find it hard to imagine anyone forcing Polly to do something she didn't want to, I mean she would just drag them off to her cave and eat them, right?
More seriously, I get the impression she is comfortable in her own skin these days, and interviewers seem to have learned not to ask her the questions that she won't answer, so maybe she doesn't find them so horrendous anymore.
