post-TBYML songs most similar to Dry and Rid of Me?

I'm looking for recommendations of PJH songs after To Bring You My Love that are most reminiscent of the Dry and Rid of Me sounds.
Those albums are two of my favorites, and I've always loved PJ's guitar playing and the stripped down rawness of those records. But when she pursued different styles and sounds after To Bring You My Love, I have to admit that I was disappointed with the new direction I heard and didn't follow her.
Can anyone recommend tracks from Is This Desire? and on that are most similar stylistically to Dry and Rid of Me? If a thread like this already exists, I apologize. Please post a link and I'll be on my way...
TIA

I second this.
That is my absolute favorite version of Joy. I prefer the majority of her songs live but Joy really stands out for me.

Thanks for the recommendations. Seeking out live shows sounds like a good idea.
I really prefer the sound of Polly solo with guitar (like 4 Track Demos or the The Secret Solo Show bootleg).
Can you recommend any other live shows where she performs solo, either electric or acoustic? Especially featuring songs from after TBYML?

The whole White Chalk tour was completely solo, although White Chalk is about as far from her early work as you can get. She did do some older songs pretty regularly though (Rid of Me, Snake, To Bring You My Love, Down By The Water, etc.) so you can at least hear those solo.
It's obviously not post-TBYML but since you like her solo, Rid of Me was done solo during the Stories tour quite a bit. I believe this version is my favorite. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdwslmDvd6c" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
She played a pretty good mix of stuff solo at Camp Bestival in 2009 too.

I was completely indifferent to Liverpool Tide for the longest time. I didn't dislike it, I'd just listen to it and not really take much from it. Then one day it sort of hit me and I suddenly went "oh my god this song is amazing". It's one of my favorite B-sides of hers now.
Every song that pops into my head as something that might work makes me go "no, on second thought..." when I'm about to suggest it. I'll think more though.

cannot miss the astonishing Polly Harvey at Hay-on-Wye Festival in 2006
first attempt to new piano songs, and especially here she's very really comunicative with the audience, and funny
she starts with Oh My Lover
Watch it http://youtu.be/WGhsecD31AM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

For raw and punishing, live versions of Joy from ITD are unrivaled. The best live ITD gigs are probably 1998-09-14 (Paris, Black Sessions) and 1998-08-16 St. Malo. Video and very good audio are available. Flac of 1998-09-14 Joy is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?nhnnjfjmthw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
As a teaser, here are mp3s of the entirety of 1998-09-14 I made from the flacs years ago: http://www.mediafire.com/?2niuylnl2tb" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you enjoy the most raw side of her music you should definetly check out Uh Huh Her, the b-sides and live bootlegs from that era and The Peel Sessions album! AND don't forget to look for live bootlegs of her 2003 tour, I'm sure you will enjoy her stripped-down performances as a three-piece band with Rob Elllis and Mick Harvey. That's the closest to her early years I can think of.
Also Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea comes to mind (both album and tour), but she went for a much more polished and layered sound back than.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll seek out the UHH B-sides and live boots. I already have the Peel Sessions and dig it.
I tried to find some boots from the 2003 tour, but no luck. All I found was a video of the 2003-08-15 @ Eden Project, St Austell UK show. Would love to get an audio boot of one of these shows.
