Eh, I don't like it either (I mean reading negative comments about her somehow feels personally hurtful to me, I hate it) but people do have the right to their own opinions. Don't quite see the point or need in sharing every single little thing that gets said about her. Probably best to just ignore them.

I don't think it is an opinion, its just an abusive statement, regarding someone merely as a sex object and in a derogatory way. Guess we live in a culture that promotes sex and a flawless photoshopped beauty other than a respect for others and real emotions. Lets hope some life event changes his attitude, otherwise he is going to be a dickhead all his life.

Well, it's what he thinks and how he feels about her so I'd say that definitely falls under the definition of opinion.
There are lots of people I find unattractive. Has nothing to do with a culture fixated on flawless photoshopped beauties (personally I hate that type of "beauty"), it's just personal taste. I would hope that doesn't make me some sort of awful person and I definitely don't think it's automatically making people into sex objects, it's just my taste and who I am/am not attracted to. Seems to me that his personal taste and opinion says she's not attractive, and that's his right to think that.
He definitely could have stated it in a more respectful way, yes. That really wasn't necessary. The fact that he doesn't find her attractive doesn't bother me as like I said, that's his opinion and taste. It's the fact he stated it in such a rude way. Wouldn't say that necessarily makes him doomed to be a dickhead for life, just a bit rude at the very least. For all we know he's a nice guy who just said that one thing in a rude, unnecessary way.
Maybe I'm being a bit too nice here but I don't think it's fair to jump to such harsh conclusions about people I don't know based on one statement, plus I'm a firm believer in the whole "everyone has a right to their own opinion/no one's personal taste should be called 'wrong' or 'bad' as it's opinion" type thing.
He doesn't find her attractive, that's his opinion and taste, he just could have been a lot nicer in expressing it.

Just to be clear I didn't mean to be rude or say you should delete it or anything. I guess my point was that as much as we don't like it, there are going to be people out there who won't like her or that will find her unattractive or who will say rude things about her in some way. It sucks, but it's their right to have their opinion, rude as it may be, just as much as we have our right to our opinion that she's great. It's always going to happen so to focus on every negative opinion we hear about her will just be an upsetting waste of time. That in mind, personally I think the best thing to do is to ignore people like that and their opinions we strongly disagree with and dislike so we can focus on all the good opinions and things said about her, things that won't make us angry or upset in any way.
You didn't have to delete it, I just meant dwelling on it and giving it attention won't change anything so it's probably best to just leave it be and focus on the good things.
My apologies if I came off as rude or if you took that the wrong way or something.

I feel a bit silly for saying anything in the first place now, but oh well.

Yeah, we both see this thing different ways, Kick inside. I don't see this as the opinion of a guy as to whether he finds someone attractive or not. He clearly said he wanted sex, called her "it" and says however he has a problem with her face. If that ain't making someone a sex object in a derogatory way, I don't know what is. The guy has a poor and sexist attitude to women and that for me, is the problem. Man-size
