Polly and Island Records?

Why does Polly's facebook page still say her label is Island Records?
http://www.facebook.com/PJHarvey/info" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Unlike her main web site, her facebook page seems to be updated pretty well.

If you go to Islands's site, things are frozen in time back to the AWAMWB era and there's no eveidence of LES:
http://www.islanddefjam.com/artist/home ... istID=7333" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Vagrant Records now seems to be Polly's label:
http://vagrant.com/artists/bio/64-pjharvey" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

When she was accepting mercury prize, she thanked to Island records and I am sure that Vargant is her American label. Vargant is responsible for the album distribution in USA. I think she will continue with Island because she always mentions that her record label never interferes her work and she is free to do her own music without any effect by the record label.

Aha. It seems that the Islanddefjam web site is stale, but the Island UK web site is up-to-date (with LES):
http://www.islandrecords.co.uk/group_artists.php?id=33" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Well, sort of...they don't link to Polly's facebook page and the link to the "community" is the old, long abandoned link.

I've revised the links in the "PJ sites" sticky thread to delete the Islanddefjam link and use the Island UK link instead. Man that is one slow web site!

BTW, the "new" forum on Polly's site has been 100% taken over by bots:
http://bb01.sov.uk.vvhp.net/pjharvey/phpBB2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

We should tell Polly's management to pull the plug on it. It's embarrasing. :down:

The 50 Years of Island Records documentary is now on YouTube and Polly appears for about 10 seconds.
