any garbage fans around?
i really dont know what to say about their new album but... disappointment? lol
however, anybody satisfied with it? thats what i wonder at this time...

I am a gigantic Garbage fan. I was obsessed with them for a very long time. I discovered them at just the right time around '97 and credit them with getting me through my adolescence in one piece. Needless to say, I was extremely excited when I heard they were finally coming back. I waited until I could buy the record before listening to any of the songs and was sad to discover today that its not at all what I had been hoping for. I had a sneaking suspicion that it might be like this, but I had anticipated some of the venom of the first two records to be somewhere in the new one. I haven't found it yet on my first couple of listens, save for "Control" which is a bit more to form. I guess I was being a bit nostalgic with my expectations.
