There's a subject title I never imagined writing!

----------------

DEARBORN, Mich., March 21, 2012 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Ford engineers tune in and rock onWhat do Stevie Ray Vaughn's tube amp, Suzanne Vega's lip smack and Rihanna's voice have in common? Ford audio engineers used these recordings to set the sound stage inside the all-new Ford Escape. PJ Harvey's "Electric Light" was used to make sure the instruments don't modulate the vocals and the bass doesn't shake the doors.

That's quite interesting and they made a good choice to use that song for their tests. I had to replace my car's speakers over the winter because I blew them out between playings of Leah and Electric Light.

I think I blew mine out when I played Björk's "Nattura" non stop when the song first came out. Helped with the road rage.
