Polly up for a Q award.

In the category of best female artist. Along with -
Laura Marling, Beyoncé and Jessie J. Ceremony is scheduled to take place on the 24th of oct.
I really feel sorry for her being up against such trash! But it is still exposure. If she does win, the award won't hurt her. Even if it is meaningless. Oh...I forgot to add Adele. She is also nominated. I really hope Polly does win know as it will be the ultimate piss in the face to all those delusional Adele fans!

It's a sometimes credible, though incredibly mainstream magazine. Similar to NME though out monthly.

Are the Q awards rewarded through fan voting? If so, PJ has no chance in hell!
But since it's a mainstream magazine, I doubt she would win either way.
Like you said, it would be rather awesome if she did though. Just to see Beyonce or Adele's fans freak.
