PJ Harvey Readies iTunes Session EPSeven-track release out September 12

On September 12, PJ Harvey releases an iTunes Session EP featuring seven songs, four taken from this year's BNM'd Let England Shake, as well as "Angelene" from 1998's Is This Desire?, and "C'mon Billy" and "Down by the Water" from 1995's To Bring You My Love, and an interview with Harvey. Check out the tracklist below, as well as PJ's European tour dates and the video for England's "The Glorious Land".

Gorgeous! They got a little carried away with Photoshop, and also GREEN, but I LOVE that picture. (When I think of PJ Harvey, I don't think "green". More like black, dark reds, earthy tones? :laugh:

this is probably an even dumber question...these are session versions, like john peel type sessions? ? i haven't heard of i tunes session tracks before ..... i have indeed been living under a rock!

^ We'll have to see. The last iTunes session she did was for Uh Huh Her and was recorded live in the studio. It included the only "studio" version that exists of the title track.

Just previewed all tracks. It sounds like it's going to be wonderful! Angelene is breathtaking, Down by the water sounds better here than on TBYML.
