Ah, cheers for the mp3s! I've been streaming them for a bit. This is easier :P

eleven shows in total, Tori shows that is, on this tour. which means Tori is still only in second place this year, Polly being in the lead (albeit by one show only).

I've seen the same band twice in one year but never seen back to back shows, let alone a whole string of them! Must have been an enjoyable journey.

recognize somebody there?

that little redheaded woman is so strange. why, every single Tori show I go to, she always shows up, isn't that amazing?

I don't know who could she is, maybe a hard fan of Maria, the worldwide known fat girl from the DVD, who uses be around too

The guy wearing the red shirt perhaps is familiar to me, it seems he could be a friend of a friend's father... and that's it.

LOL, j/k of course. I see your tour has been wonderful. Excellent, I'm so glad of you. :shades:

Lovely photos, btw.

The big lady's Doris. :) I think if I remember correctly?

when going to Tori shows, seeing (and hearing) them back to back is really the right way to catch the variations in her setlists. it's when you skip a couple of shows that you run the risk of getting more songs that she already played on the previous occasion that you went to see/hear her. (because some songs tend to rotate with a certain regularity, a song is more likely to be played again not in the very next show but in the third.)

the journey itself was rather like a knife cutting both ways: some hardships were involved which sort of kept a total balance with the joys of traveling. (some of these hardships were of a kind that can be blamed on other people, certain inconveniences imposed by the train companies, aggravations concerning certain hotels - some of these details make for an interesting story, but I feel reluctant to share them in a forum such as this.)

The executive summary:

* There will be one physical edition in the United States that will include the CD with two bonus tracks (“Comfort and Joy” and “Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht (Silent Night, Holy Night)”), a 20 page booklet and a DVD containing an interview with Tori about the creation and inspiration for the album.

News: Your Daily Midwinter Graces Update
Posted by woj on Thursday, October 15, 2009 | Releases

Travis reports hearing from a friend working in retail distribution that the regular edition of Midwinter Graces had been pulled — at least in the States. The fact that Amazon’s listing for the regular edition has disappeared seems to bear this news out, though the official sites still reference it and the European and Canadian Amazon stores are still listing a single-CD release of the album. We’ll have to see how that plays out…

Additionally, a little birdie tells us that the deluxe edition DVD will include a 30 minute interview. It’s not clear though at this point if that will be the only special feature of the deluxe edition or if there will be more extras included on either the DVD or in the package.

It's leaked.

It's quite nice. Has some of the best work she's done in a decade.

Excellent recording, I agree.

Thank you very much, it's one of the best group of files I've heard from this tour, even though they are mp3. Could it be due to band absence?
