Ok, so there's one problem. The poll results are erased, I had no idea this would happen. Sorry!

Everyone will have to vote again, my apologies, but then, the field has changed too.

Also, I don't have time at the moment to add a thumbnail photo. :???: Carry on.
Thank you so much, that's perfectly fine with me. :) I don't think the Gardeners will mind re-voting as Polly's fan's are always opinionated, which is admirable & more rare these days. There is A vast amount of regard for her work thus making these polls fun. :) What thumbnail do you mean?

EDIT:

Oh ok that thumbnail!!

Uh I can't edit a poll once I've made it, I guess to prevent tampering & that's ok with me :)

If you can add this in where LES is when you have time it'd be most appreciated. It's sized to match the others.

Cheers!

Got it!

And it didn't reset the poll again. Phew!

I re-voted for Rid Of Me, TBYML and ITD? LES is really nice but obviously needs time to be even compared with the aforementioned classics.

I checked off the option that people can change their vote at any time because I do know how hard it is & that it changes over time. :)

I'm sorry...I think that people being able to cast their vote again over time would be a more accurate & positive thing. I know how often PJ fans listen to the albums & I know from listening to her so long that time can change your perspective. As your personal self "grows" closer to one more then another and such , my intention was just for a fun consensus on the idea. All I mean is we know how solid & versatile her albums are & being our special relationships with them as fans nothing should be set in stone. Certainly never meant anything negative to be alluded towards you or anything, I'm sorry? :)

I'm sorry, Cat - never meant it as a critique
I'm in on the callenge, really... and I stand by my vote  (but it IS hard to choose... and I agree with you and will probably change my mind at some point  )

I'm reducing the choices from 12 to 8, because 4-Track Demos, the two albums with Parish and the Peel sessions are no PJ albums for me, which doesn't mean I don't like them (so far I don't know the Peel Sessions and A Woman Walked by). Especially Dance Hall at Louse Point has its great moments (City of no Sun, That was my Veil, Civil War Correspondent, Taut, Heela e.g.)

I actually prefer "heavy" music but somehow I cannot call Dry and Rid of me my favourite records of her.

Before the release of LES my choice would have been TBYML, ITD and White Chalk. But now? May be I should wait how LES is developing and relisten to Dry and Rid of me.

Conclusion?
It's too early to call.

1. White Chalk
2. Is This Desire?
3. Let England Shake

Strictly speaking about the music, I think I would have to choose Let England Shake, White Chalk, and Uh Huh Her. A Woman a Man Walked By would be a close fourth. For me, I guess PJ has been on fire for a good amount of time now.

If talking about favorite "eras," however, I think I would vote differently.
