So it's the end of times Saturday huh?

It's like 1988 all over again!
Maybe I

My brother posted this -
"On Saturday, take some of your unwanted clothes and shoes and leave sets of them arranged on sidewalks and lawns around town..."

Haa, I think I finally managed to convert somebody into Pollyism!
I know this gentleman in his 50's, a musician, with whom I've had very interesting discussions about music. However PJ seems to have slipped under his radar completely. I finally got him interested enough to give LES a listen. Then he borrowed Dry. And I guess Polly's voodoo did the rest as he now told me he had gone to the record shops and bought ALL of PJ's albums at once.
He just said how incredible it is that an artist like PJ has been around for ~20 years and yet he had no idea how good the music actually was. I guess it just goes to show how marginal PJ is as an artist (in my country anyway).

That's pretty sweet! Every time I ~introduce someone to Polly's music they always show interest, but always fail to follow up.
Every Friday, I start work at 6:30am and we all leave at 10:30am. I use the hour before closing to back up my hard drive. Safe to say that I am incredibly bored and do almost damn near nothing in these 4 hours, but look at the clock, FB and other websites (hey, I do have to appear somewhat productive). I can only hit refresh so many times. C'mon 10:30am!!!

Excellent. I always have the image in my head of new fans going off and listening to the other albums. Imagine them listening to something like 'Rid of Me' after the new album and looking at the cover and saying something like this: "This isn't right! They've got the cover wrong; it can't be the same woman!" :-)

^I know what you mean. Although this gentleman's no.1 idol is probably Richard Wagner he still has an impressive musical range when it comes to artists he listens to.
I sort of knew that if he gave PJ a proper listen he would like it.

This morning I was thinking "man, I really wanna see PJ act." And yeah, there's the Book of Life but I'm talking about a real role (and one we can better see, not some blurry mess). I think she's got a pretty sharp sense of humor and I could totally see her in a dark comedy or some independent dramedy. I know before she has expressed interest in doing that, somebody needs to ask her to do it already!! c'mon directors, get it together!!

I want to see Polly in costumes like this:

...and putting her accent to good use.

I removed my septum and lip piercing for an interview I had this morning and I keep reaching for them. My face feels soo weird.

Haha, it's ok. The "hole" is inside my nose so you can't really see it. The lip, it looks like a small mole, nothing drastic. They are a bitch to put back on though.
As for the interview, it went well. I would love that job, but he said that they won't look to hire anyone for at least 4 more weeks, and I kinda need that job like 4 months ago. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm having a Let England Shake(album cover) t-shirt printed right now! (just one lol) I can't wait to start wearing it.
-and it's done! Working at a screen printing studio has its perks!

Im so proud of New York right now for passing gay marriage rights. I'm so proud and I'm not even a New Yorker. America's slowly getting closer to everyone being equal...
Even 4 Republicans voted for it. O_o
