Due to the likely song titles on the board, do you think the album will be called 'Orlam' as well?

that's a good question... i cannot say this fore sure, but all of PJ's albums share their name with a song, and in most cases that song is part of the album. let's make a short list:

Dry-there's no "Dry" song in the album ( Dry is part of Rid Of Me).

Rid Of Me- there's a "Rid Of Me" song in the album.

To Bring You My Love- yep there a "TBYML" song in the album.

dance hall at louse point- yes.

is this desire-yes.

stories from the city stories from the sea-no.

uh oh her- no.

white chalk-yes.

a woman a man walked by- yes.

let england shake- yes.

the hope six demolition project-yes.

so my point is: since most of PJ's albums contain a song with the same name (8 out of 11) and in the whiteboard showed in the video there's no "orlam" song i can see, i would say, no, the album should have a different name.

keep in mind this is totally speculative.

Personal opinion: I hope not!
And not because I don't like it, but because I'm afraid it would create confusion with the book, and how exhausting it would be to point out all the time if one is referring to the book or the record...
But if she decides to go for that route, I hope it's going to be something like "The Realm of Orlam", if you get my point.

Anyway, I'm so glad that the new album is going to be related to the book, I've been reading it non-stop for the last couple of months (I'm actually in the process of writing my graduation thesis on it ) and in my opinion there are tons of alternatives that could be lifted from it as a new title.

You definitely have a point there.

I personally don't know if it would be a good strategy, to let the title of the book and the title of the new album be the same.

And taking the last album as an example, the poetry collection that inspired it didn't have the same title, right?!

So, let's see what's on the way. I'm very excited!

Oh wow, that's awesome, bruise! Please update us on it (I also wrote my master's thesis on literary usage of dialects, I know the pain lol).

Thanks! Luckily for me I won't have to concentrate on the dialect, that would be a nightmare. I had to provide a translation with a detailed overview of the translation issues/strategies, and a literary analisys, which is the greatest part.

By the way, if anybody wonders what are the lyrics in the new video she posted today, she's singing lines from "A Child's Question - August":

What says dunnnick, drush or dove?
Love Me Tender? Tender Love

[dunnick: sparrow; drush: thrush]

I was wondering if and how she's going to interpolate the two Elvis' songs that are referenced throughout the poems ("Love Me Tender" and "Are You Lonesome Tonight?"). It would be so cool if she does use them as she did with other songs in the last two albums!

An Tha already posted this: https://youtube.com/shorts/MVF7mhiWVvY?feature=share.

So this is an abstract from "A Child's Question-End of the Summer Holidays".

Don't know why but musically it reminds me of "Horses in my dreams" from the "stories from the city stories from the sea" album ( love that song), especially the intro.

Two things i noticed:

1) are those the same trousers she used back in the 2001 tour?

please, excuse the awful quality of the pictures.

2) in this short clip it really comes out how much of a hard and serious worker she is, way more than in the 2019 film. Enrico Gabrielli was right. :)

I was listening to The Orange Monkey on Spotify and noticed there's a looping video that looks like something from the new album, did you notice?

New trousers I think.
I think the 2001 outfit is a jumpsuit, and the stripes are further apart.
Not that any of us is at all obsessed or anything ...

Anyway, it's good to know she can afford new trousers.

Thank you Orange, you definitely have a better eyesight than me.
I'm not into fashion or anything like that, but i've always found PJ's outfits fascinating.
