Yes, it's good that they don't have "Bieber Fever"!Pitifuljoy wrote:Lilium wrote:I just love her look from her TBYML era.

I don't think it has changed.Erinydwi wrote:I always surprises my when young teens like PJ. When I was 16 I felt like I was the only one!
I tried in vain with my sister (we are 10 years apart). My music just never stuck! She's all about Rhianna, Beyonce, top 40 crap and really bad house music that she loves to blast when I'm visiting.Erinydwi wrote:
I've recently converted a 16 year old though - result.

Oh well I'm just the same. 16 years old and nobody to talk to about music. I am lucky working at a culture café where people are very open minded, there I can discuss some music, but not you know like talk about all her b-sides that no one have ever heard of. Nobody of my entourage does listen to PJ Harvey.![]()
I think I have rare tastes for my age, and it's a shame since I can't really share it with anybody. Either teens listen to commercial stuff (not inevitably Bieber, but kinda), or they only listen to loud and noisy metal.
The latter is worse in my opinion because they're cocky, they think their tastes show up a certain smartness, although in the end they just have no sensibility for metal : they're just narrow-minded teenagers trying to get a style by listening to some guttural.
I do love metal, and many other styles, still I do not act like a cocky metalhead.
Everytime someone asks about my musical tastes, I'm always like : "Well... Weird kind of stuff, just doesn't matter".
