*sad music*
Imagine Polly has a gatekeeper...like the one in Monty Python and The Holy Grail's "Bridge Of Death":

Okay, here's my question. Will you do a show in Washington D.C., pretty please with sugar on top? If not D.C. Maryland works find. The chances of her playing in the state of Virginia are very low.

I'm in VA too and I share your pain. If she comes to DC I'd have to drive up there by myself 'cause no one I know likes her

^Yeah, I might be moving to Canada soon, and PJH has
never toured there, as far as I know. not played in Vancouver, BC (where I will be) very frequently. So that kind of makes me sad. I might put off moving just for her. No joke.

Whaaat do you mean by thaaaat?
And here's what my question would be: Are you still thinking of doing that whole comedy thing?

it's probably lost in one of the other versions of The Garden but I met Polly early in 2008 in Melbourne. Her Mum and Mick Harvey too.
I didn't say anything of note! Mortifying!

I've given this some thought & I think maybe something about books, but I'd probably just to nervous & make an amazing ass of myself with my stuttering problem.

Gosh if I ever saw her I would be way to nervous to ask her a question *sadface* haha
But I would like to know how she feel about having fans and if she could give her fans a message what would that be? Or maybe what of her albums and songs she is most proud of...

That's intense. I always imagine approaching her very relaxed and cool, because I've adjusted to meeting famous artists over the years, but I know I'd do exactly what you did. And if her mother and Mick Harvey were there, too, I wouldn't stand a chance.

I don't have a stuttering problem, but I think if I met her, I would suddenly have one.

I definitely wonder how she feels about her fans, whether casual or obsessive.
I know I already posted my question, but I'm curious to know what contemporary music she listens to.

I would ask her why she changes hair and clothes between every new album and tour. I would also ask her if she keeps all her old clothes. Seriously, that womans wardrobe has to be big as a castle!

Ohh good question! I have wondered about that too, I mean we all know that she "never wants to repeat herself" but it´s like a totally different new look every time, she can´t be bored withe her old look as it´s so close between most of the albums and tours. Great for the fans though as its always exciting to see what she´ll come up with.
sorry if it´s a bit off-topic.

I don't know if having a small(er) wardrobe would mean that she repeats herself, really hope that's not the cause of her many styles.

I think I remember her saying all her old stuff is in storage but I might be thinking of someone else.

good, would be so sad if she didn´t kept it. Gosh to wander round in that storage and to see all of the costumes.
