fantastic to make this.

Headlines not sure what is already common knowledge:-

Half way thru an album but shes kind of hit a block. when pressed on a date she said 'probably next year'.
Said she was working on a drawings/poetry book. She spends half her time on poetry and drawings and other half on lyrics/music.

Enjoyable day, as others have said the interviewer didnt seem that prepared or maybe starstruck but i think she said she was a new fan.

Anyway. heres the song she did at the end in 1080p

Just arrived back home after a lovely day out, caught a flight to Dublin at early o’clock and drove to Borris House to see Polly being interviewed. I’ll give a few details tonight and will try to elaborate more tomorrow.

Polly has moved to London.

Struggling with writing new songs, half the songs for the new album are written and expects to have the rest completed by the end of the year then will record.

Anne Enright asked if she had any episodes of being a diva, Polly answered that when she was appearing on David Letterman they had built a Stonehenge for her on the stage, she refused to go on unless it was removed.

wow a big pack of good news, thank you all for the pictures, video and news on the new album.
Damm, isn't she really beautiful with the new haircut? Despite the, once again, black outfit, I would say by her hair it is the most sunny, romantic summer girl look she ever had, maybe the album will be a lighter material? - and judging by her choice on playing The Desperate Kingdom of Love, I would bet. I am curious about what she has been reading, that will point us the way.

Few more bits:

During the time she was working on Let England Shake she became ill, needed to sleep so much of the time she didn't know what was wrong with her until a friend said - look at what you are doing - constantly watching films, reading books, looking at paintings and photographs about war.

Part of the research for LES was going to gravesites in France.

Touring is not glamorous, it smells backstage, toilets don't flush properly, often get lost trying to find the stage.

The outfits she wears on stage for each tour reflects the album she has just made.

Not me who filmed, but here are some short clips from the interview

It was a really intimate room with only ca. 200 people in the audience, and we got to ask her questions. Ten minutes after the event had ended she came out to chat with some friends on the grass. I sat there and stared at her for a while, until I dared to ask for an autograph and tell her that I'd traveled from Sweden to hear her.

I am so incredibly in love with this one. She looks really good (and I love her hair like this!).

I really like that "I've never felt man nor woman" quote too.

The Stonehenge thing made me laugh a little bit. I wouldn't consider it extremely diva-ish or anything...this is just my interpretation of course but it almost seems to me like they tried to make a big deal out of her being there by doing something like that, and sort of knowing how she is, I'd guess she just didn't want such a big fuss to be made (well that and it seems kind of cheesy). She ended up doing something sort of diva-ish to avoid looking like a diva. I don't know if that even makes any sense...just my two cents.

Oh well, bottom line, this is really exciting and thanks for all the pictures. So beautiful.
